Happy 1st Birthday Mason!!

What a year it has been.  I can't believe the little monkey is one today! Last year at this time we had no idea what the months let alone days to follow had in store for us.  We have truly been blessed with a miracle in this little boy.  Thank you all for all the prayers and support over this past year. We couldn't have done it without you! Thanks to so many amazing nurses and doctors, lots of prayers, and one very special guardian angel we have this amazing child.  Joe and I plan to spoil him like crazy today :) We will be spending the afternoon swinging away at the park (his favorite thing to do!!) and out for supper tonight. We are so blessed.

It's hard to believe that only one year ago this quarter would cover Mason's entire handprint on a piece of paper!!! He is our little miracle man. We had a little photo session with Hey Jude last night, can't wait to see the rest :)

Done with oxygen :)

It's been awhile since I've posted on here!!  Mason had a pneumogram the other night to see if he could get rid of the oxygen. We met with Dr Wil the pulmonologist on Wednesday and he said everything looked great and he could be done with oxygen!! The last few nights at home have been good. I'm still a little cautious so I still put his monitor on him at night, but we will be taking that back soon....  He is up to about 16 pounds and is 26 inches long.  He eats like crazy and loves all the different foods daddy makes him. His favorites are mangoes and papayas :) He also really likes a sweet potato, apple, and chicken mixture that we make.  He has been sleeping from about 7:30 at night until around 5 in the morning.  He is a very active little boy rolling over all the time.  He loves to stand and hold on to things. He is NOT a fan of his tummy, but we are working on it.  As soon as he is on his tummy he rolls right over to his back.  Here are a few recent pictures of Mason.
